Guest Huckboy just suggested assassination for Barack Obama. He's an idiot and you are too if you think he's a decent guy. A practiced orator doesn't suggest assassination for a black presidential candidate at the NRA convention & then pretend it was just stupidity. Way beyond.... I hope Huckboy looks up when the unguided missle comes looking for him.

annettecotter@bellsouth.net Why don't you pack up your christian hick belongings and get back to the hillbilly woods where you came from? You are not nearly sophistocated enough to be on the public scene. HOW DARE YOU suggest before the NRA collection of sadistic nuts that someone might point a gun at Obama? Like Martin Luther King, perhaps? Like John F. Kennedy, perhaps? Some things are funny. You, Mr. Huckabee, are not. You are too ignorant to even know what you're saying. At least I HOPE that's your problem. You GodSquad creeps always have a huge streak of racist mean, no matter how hard you try to hide it. By the way, James O. Powell, past editor of the Little Rock Gazette is my Uncle, and he would be proud of me for trying to get this thought to you. Go home and sit on your front porch with your shotgun across you knee, put in a dip of snuff and PRAY, why don't you. You are a REAL piece of work!

EEL I want to encourage all outstanding states with an upcoming Caucus or Primary to get out and vote for Mike Huckabee. He is a true conservative, he is the only Governor left in the race and he is firm in his political convictions.

Please show the media that the people of this country are still in charge of electing our officials into the Presidency. The media is not.

By showing immediate momentum, the other follow-on states will see the light and vote Huckabee into the White House. McCain is not capable of beating the Democrats and would be devestating as an international figure to represent America.

Please get out and vote for Mike Huckabee!

jkpr@worldnet.att.net What Pres Kenndy said and he had it right. He was saying put my country first and me last.

John Edwards had it right when he said get rid of the lobbest. Our congress men and women are well paid and are allowed staff people to do the home work.

George Bush had it right when he said would not sign a bill unless it was debated in open. To bad did not do this 7 years ago.

The America people are tried of every thing being influence by money. Become the President for all the people especially everyday Joe.

Let your platform be,BRNG OUR JOBS BACK, BRING OUR SOLIDERS HOME AT THE PROPER TIME, BRING OUT DEBT IN BALANCE. BRING AMERICA BACK TO THE ORGINAL FOUNDATION IT WAS FOUNDED.

jkpr@worldnet.att.net This is a continuation of Hydron Car idea It time to stop exporting jobs. America companies can compete when there is a level playing feel. Our balance of payment is out whack. Let figure what amout of imports we will let into this country.by trading country, Ex. Lets say we say a country can ship in 1 billion dollars free and any thing above the limit put a duty on excess of what it would cost to produce in US. Make a level trading field.

jkpr@worldnet.att.net To Mike Huckabee and I hope I get a response from Him. Mike I am on your side because I feel you are a real Christian.

Mike you must start to think "out of the box" We all know the issues! You need to give concret proposals. Let me give you several ideas that the Lord I think has put on my heart. Lets create a "Manhattan Projec"t to perfect and develope a Hydron Car for the American working class. Maximun price $22,000. Time table two years. To be made in US by US workers with 75-85 percent of parts made in US. It time to use the smartest workers in the world and turm them lose. Think what this would do to Detroit. If we can put a man on moon there is nothing th US can not do! Think of consquenses of cutting oil consumtion. I would also offer a rebate to all buyers based on millage driven each year and have rebate for a three year period.three year period. The rebate would be in form of a tax credit and millage driven would be reported to each state Deptment of Vehicles Most states require yearly liceses tags and each owner woud get a 1040 type report to file with income tax.

randyrayallenx1@netzero.net I wish Mike would pick up on issue of choosing satellite stations and only paying for the ones we want. The culture is getting worse and we are indirectly supporting bogus stations because you can't choose stations we want to watch. This would cut down on the number of bad stations being supported indirectly and probably wouldn't make it.

You don't see much good about Mike on TV, but I wish he would push "Do You Remember" about how congress tried to push "AMNESTY" down our throats without representing the people. McCain is responsible for this.

Also, I wish he would talk about people taking responsibility for their actions. If the government bails out the mortgage industry we are just reinforcing irresponsible actions by people. It is kind of like Katrina where people didn't purchase insurance and the government gives them a new home. We wonder why the dollar is loosing it's value as the nation looses it's values....... I choose to believe Mike has the right integrity for the leadership which is what this country needs now. The great communicator .....

Bob A lot of the political experts in the media really don't give Mike Huckabee much of chance in many of the upcoming primaries. But I think they don't understand the dynamics that Mike Huckabee brings to the table. He is sincere, answers questions clearly, accepts criticism and has not attacked others in the race in return as seems so common with all other candidates. Being a strong Christian brings such a wonderful dynamic to his presentation. It is amazing to see how other, more secular candidates, seem really threatened by his rapidly developing popularity. He can carry Ohio and I am excited to give him
my support.

Patrick J. Walsh I am from Massachusetts and am voting for Governor Huckabee.

Mitt Romney is no conservative! Don't be fooled. Romney allowed so called Gay Marriage in Mass. He could have done more to prevent it but is sorely lacking in courage and political skills.

We need real leadership along with the integrity Gov Huckabee possesses, not the posturing and impostering of conservative principles.

Guest: Jim Baxter Every September, I recall that is more than half a century (62 years) since I landed at Nagasaki with the 2nd Marine Division in the original occupation of Japan following World War II. This time every year, I have watched and listened to the light-hearted "peaceniks" and their light-headed symbolism-without-substance of ringing bells, flying pigeons, floating candles, and sonorous chanting and I recall again that "Peace is not a cause - it is an effect."

In July, 1945, my fellow 8th RCT Marines [I was a BARman] and I returned to Saipan following the successful conclusion of the Battle of Okinawa. We were issued new equipment and replacements joined each outfit in preparation for our coming amphibious assault on the home islands of Japan.

B-29 bombing had leveled the major cities of Japan, including Kobe, Osaka, Nagoya, Yokohama, Yokosuka, and Tokyo.

We were informed we would land three Marine divisions and six Army divisions, perhaps abreast, with large reserves following us in. It was estimated that it would cost half a million casualties to subdue the Japanese homeland.

In August, the A-bomb was dropped on Hiroshima but the Japanese government refused to surrender. Three days later a second A-bomb was dropped on the city of Nagasaki. The Imperial Japanese government finally surrendered.

Following the 1941 sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, a Japanese admiral said, "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant..." Indeed, they had. Not surprisingly, the atomic bomb was produced by a free people functioning in a free environment. Not surprisingly because the creative process is a natural human choice-making process and inventiveness occurs most readily where choice-making opportunities abound. America!

Tamper with a giant, indeed! Tyrants, beware: Free men are nature's pit bulls of Liberty! The Japanese learned the hard way what tyrants of any generation should know: Never start a war with a free people - you never know what they may invent!

As a newly assigned member of a U.S. Marine intelligence section, I had a unique opportunity to visit many major cities of Japan, including Tokyo and Hiroshima, within weeks of their destruction. For a full year I observed the beaches, weapons, and troops we would have assaulted had the A-bombs not been dropped. Yes, it would have been very destructive for all, but especially for the people of Japan.

When we landed in Japan, for what came to be the finest and most humane occupation of a defeated enemy in recorded history, it was with great appreciation, thanksgiving, and praise for the atomic bomb team, including the aircrew of the Enola Gay. A half million American homes had been spared the Gold Star flag, including, I'm sure, my own.

Whenever I hear the apologists expressing guilt and shame for A-bombing and ending the war Japan had started (they ignore the cause-effect relation between Pearl Harbor and Nagasaki), I have noted that neither the effete critics nor the puff-adder politicians are among us in the assault landing-craft or the stinking rice paddies of their suggested alternative, "conventional" warfare. Stammering reluctance is obvious and continuous, but they do love to pontificate about the Rights that others, and the Bomb, have bought and preserved for them.

The vanities of ignorance and camouflaged cowardice abound as license for the assertion of virtuous "rights" purchased by the blood of others - those others who have borne the burden and physical expense of Rights whining apologists so casually and self-righteously claim.

At best, these fakers manifest a profound and cryptic ignorance of causal relations, myopic perception, and dull I.Q. At worst, there is a word and description in The Constitution defining those who love the enemy more than they love their own countrymen and their own posterity. Every Yankee Doodle Dandy knows what that word is.

In 1945, America was the only nation in the world with the Bomb and it behaved responsibly and respectfully. It remained so until two among us betrayed it to the Kremlin. Still, this American weapon system has been the prime deterrent to earth's latest model world- tyranny: Seventy years of Soviet collectivist definition, coercion, and domination of individual human beings.

The message is this: Trust Freedom. Remember, tyrants never learn. The restriction of Freedom is the limitation of human choice, and choice is the fulcrum-point of the creative process in human affairs. As earth's choicemaker, it is our human identity on nature's beautiful blue planet and the natural premise of man's free institutions, environments, and respectful relations with one another. Made in the image of our Creator, free men choose, create, and progress - or die.

Free men should not fear the moon-god-crowd oppressor nor choose any of his ways. Recall with a confident Job and a victorious David, "Know ye not you are in league with the stones of the field?"
